Syotaro Hayashi / 林翔太郎（Paffgen / ペイフゲン）

1988年福井県出身。Vegetable Record共同代表。ソロプロジェクト「Paffgen（ペーフゲン）」としても活動。音楽の鑑賞や作曲・演奏・発表方法といった従来の手法・枠組みを疑い、スポーツ・ランドスケープ・デザインなどの個人的体験をテーマに用いて、新しい音楽の楽しみ方や音楽の可能性を広げていくことで、他者や自身に対するまなざしを変容させることを大切にする。音楽とテニスを使った新作プロジェクト「Wild Conversation~Music Tennis~」を2024年に発表。

Born in Fukui, Japan in 1988. Artist and Co-founder of Vegetable Record. He also worked solo project as "Paffgen". He questions the conventional methods and frameworks of music appreciation, composition, performance, and presentation, and use themes from his personal experiences such as sports, landscape design to explore new ways to enjoy music and expand the possibilities of music. By doing so, he value changing the way you look at others and yourselves. A new project using music and tennis, “Wild Conversation~Music Tennis~” was released in 2024.
 

Ryota Mikami / 三上僚太

1988年東京都出身。Vegetable Record共同代表。2014年に「Buddha, Mozart and the Ladies」をYoutubeなどのネット上にて発表。その後、2016年〜2017年に「Wedding」「Wedding (Part II)」、2020年に「Love Decorated with the Flowers」、2022年に「What the Happy Puppy Dreamed of」、2023年に「MOKA / Deus Ibi Est」、「音楽記録」シリーズ、「Music Painting」シリーズを発表。

Born in Tokyo, Japan in 1988. Artist and Co-founder of Vegetable Record. In 2014, he released the "Buddha, Mozart and the Ladies" on some websites. 2013年8月結成。Syotaro HayashiとRyota Mikamiによるユニット。2021年11月まで「The Vegetables」として活動。2013年9月に1st Album「Vegetable Hotel」をYoutubeなどネット上に公開。2015年12月に2nd Album「Love! Vegetables」を発表。2021年12月よりレーベル名と同じくVegetable Recordに改名。

The Vegetables is a performing duo consisting of Syotaro Hayashi and Ryota Mikami and formed in August 2013. They worked as "The Vegetables" until November 2021. They released 1st Album “Vegetable Hotel” in September 2013, 2nd Album “Love! Vegetables” in December 2015. Their group name has been renamed to the same Vegetable Record as the label from December 2021.
