Songs for Exhibition "unnecessary"

音楽を使った空間デザイン。
「痛み」をテーマにアート作品を発表している歯科医師、長縄拓哉の個展「unnecessary」の音楽。
 
基本テーマである「痛み」を派生展開させ、「痛みを和らげる音楽」をコンセプトに3曲制作。キーワードは「ロマンス」「陽気」「夢」。様々な音色が織りなす、ラテン的でロマンチックな白日夢/非現実のような、軽やかで柔らかい雰囲気を目指した。
 
会場では3ヶ所に設置したそれぞれのスピーカーから、楽曲「#1」「#2」「#3」を再生。3曲は、尺は異なるが調性が同じため、常にズレながらも重なり調和し、会場の環境音（街の音や話し声など）と混ざり合うことで、「その時・その場所」でしか成り立たない「居る場所によって聴こえ方が変わる、グラデーションのような音楽空間」を作った。

Music for the solo exhibition "unnecessary" of Takuya Naganawa, a dentist who is presenting art works on the theme of "pain".

We developed the basic theme of "pain" and made 3 songs with the concept of "music to relieve pain". The keywords are "Romance," "Cheerfulness," and "Dream." We aimed for a Latin daydream-like atmosphere with various tones.

Also, the 3 songs "#1", "#2" and "#3" are played from small speakers installed in various places in the gallery. The 3 songs have different length but the same tonality, so they always overlap and harmonize with each other, creating "A gradation-like music space that sounds change depending on where you are.
