Songs for すみだ名所 〜東京スカイツリーを音楽で表現する〜 | 東京都墨田区

音楽を使ったインスタレーション。

「隅田川 森羅万象 墨に夢」2021年度プロジェクト企画のひとつとして、墨田区内の3ヶ所（東京スカイツリー®︎ 天望デッキ、すみだ北斎美術館 屋外、小梅橋船着場）にて、「Songs for すみだ名所 〜東京スカイツリーを音楽で表現する〜」を開催。

葛飾北斎が「冨嶽三十六景」などの「名所絵」で風景を捉えたように、特定の視点から見る景色を音楽で表現する「名所音楽」を制作。東京スカイツリーを望む3つの場所にQRコードを設置。3会場ごとに楽曲は異なるが、冨嶽三十六景の共通モチーフ「富士山（冨嶽）」のように、3地点の異なる3曲には、音楽の共通モチーフ「Motif for 東京スカイツリー」が曲ごとに形を変えて組み込まれている。

展示しているQRコードは「1枚の絵画のように作曲した15分間の音楽」を視覚化したデザイン。会場ごとに展示方法や大きさ、素材が異なる。スマートフォンで読み込むと、そこから見える景色を表現した楽曲を聴くことができる。また、展示品をハガキサイズにした「音楽付きポストカード」を各会場で無料配布した。

Installation using music.

We held "Songs for Famous Sights of Sumida - Expressing Tokyo Skytree with Music" at TOKYO SKYTREE ®︎ TEMBO DECK, The Sumida Hokusai Museum and Koume-bashi Bridge Landing Pier as one of the programs of "Sumi-Yume 2021".

They expressed the scenery seen from a specific viewpoint with music, just as Hokusai captured the scenery with "Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji". QR codes are installed at three locations overlooking the Tokyo Sky Tree. Although the songs are different for each of the three venues, the common motif of music "Motif for Tokyo Sky Tree" is incorporated in each song, like the common motif "Mt. Fuji" of "Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji".

They visualized "15 minutes of music composed like a painting". You can listen to music that expresses the scenery you see from there reading the QR code on your smartphone and you can take "Postcard with Music".
